Managing Director

Kompetenz is looking for a Managing Director to lead the regional office and drive the growth of our insurance brokerage business in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the regional business strategy
• Build relationships with key corporate clients, insurers and reinsurers
• Lead, recruit and develop the regional team
• Own the regional P&L, budgets and performance targets
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Kompetenz standards

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in insurance or insurance brokerage, including 5+ years in senior management
• Proven track record in business development and team leadership
• Strong network in the regional insurance market
• Fluent English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage
